Hi, I'm Scott Vance, the craftsman behind Hillview Furniture Co.

Together with my wife Chelsea, Hillview Furniture Co. builds custom solid wood furniture right here in Wausau, Wisconsin.

We've spent the last three years building custom cutting boards and smaller solid wood pieces for customers' homes, and we are now taking on the work we set out to do from the start: custom dining furniture. Tables, benches, and matching seating, built to the dimensions your room needs.

We were very disappointed with the typical nature of commercial furniture, and we figured we were the perfect family to do something about it! We started with tables for family, friends, and our own house, and have been making dining tables for central Wisconsin since 2026.

All of our work is solid hardwood construction. There is no particle board or veneer in our shop! We select the lumber, build the piece, and finish it ourselves. We handle every project personally from the first conversation through delivery. You'll work directly with the family building your furniture.Tables are our specialty, but we take on plenty of other pieces.

If you've got something else in mind, just ask. If you're planning a table, message my page with your room size, the seating you need, and a rough timeline. We’ll give you honest pricing and a realistic build time before you commit to anything.
