The Leopold Shaker Tapered Leg Table
-
The Leopold has a solid hardwood top with a clean square edge, sitting on square legs that taper on two sides with a slimmer apron underneath. It's a simple design that lets the wood do the talking, and cherry and walnut look especially exquisite.
-
This style is named after Aldo Leopold, the Wisconsin conservationist who wrote A Sand County Almanac. Kettle ladder back or Irene slat back chairs match well, and the Aldo shaker bench is a perfect fit if you want seating on one side.
-
The base can be left natural or stained to match the top.

What finish is used?
We use a premium Italian LED hardwax oil that instantly cures when we shine a special UV light over it. This plant-based finish can be spot repaired, so scratches are not a major concern. Read more about our finish here.
