The Marquette Farmhouse Table
-
The Marquette has a solid oak top on turned farmhouse legs, with the heavy bead and shaped foot you'd expect on an old farm table. Breadboard ends are also available.
-
This style is named after Father Jacques Marquette, the French missionary who paddled the Fox and Wisconsin Rivers with Louis Jolliet in 1673. Muir slat back, Irene slat back, or Pearl wide slat chairs go well with it, as does a matching Marquette farmhouse bench if you'd rather seat a few people on one side.
-
The legs can be painted white or black, or left as natural hardwood to match the top.

We use a premium Italian LED hardwax oil that instantly cures when we shine a special UV light over it. This plant-based finish can be spot repaired, so scratches are not a major concern. Read more about our finish here.
