The Jolliet Double Pedestal Trestle Table
-
The Jolliet has a solid oak top on two heavy turned pedestals, each with a wide two-tier foot, tied together by a low stretcher. This style leaves the corners open for end chairs, which makes it a good fit for big families and holiday dinners.
-
This style is named after Louis Jolliet, the French-Canadian explorer who paddled the Wisconsin River to the Mississippi with Father Marquette in 1673. Muir slat back or Kettle ladder back chairs go well with this design.
-
The base can be natural, stained, or painted any color.

What finish is used?
We use a premium Italian LED hardwax oil that instantly cures when we shine a special UV light over it. This plant-based finish can be spot repaired, so scratches are not a major concern. Read more about our finish here.
