The Muir Curved Slat Back Chair

The Muir has a tall back with two wide curved slats, a scooped solid seat and flared rear legs. It's the most comfortable of our wood chairs and the easiest match for a farmhouse table.

It's named after John Muir, who grew up in Marquette County, Wisconsin, before he became the naturalist who helped create our national parks. It goes well with the Marquette farmhouse table, the Lapham round table, the Jolliet trestle table, and the Curtis pedestal table.

The finish can be natural, stained, or painted to match your table.

What finish is used?
What finish is used?
We use a premium Italian LED hardwax oil that instantly cures when we shine a special UV light over it. This plant-based finish can be spot repaired, so scratches are not a major concern. Read more about our finish here.
